Originally scheduled to open in early October, Twin Smokers BBQ is finally ready to serve up its take on smoked meats. The restaurant announced on its Facebook page that it begins service Sautrday in the Luckie Marietta District.
Twin Smokers comes from Legacy Restaurant Partners, the company behind Article 14, Der Biergarten, and STATS, among others.
"Our menu features Southern-style barbecue with hickory-smoked chicken and pork, and Texas-style barbecue with mesquite-smoked beef brisket," Legacy corporate executive chef Chris Blobaum said in a previous release. An "extensive bourbon selection and beer program" will be offered as well.
The restaurant's name comes from its two custom Oyler 700 smokers, one for pork and chicken, and the other for beef. The 4,000-square-foot Twin Smokers space is located in the same building that houses STATS at 300 Marietta Street. Hours are Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
