Wahoo! Wine & Provisions Opens Next Week

Wahoo! Wine & Provisions, the forthcoming shop from Wahoo! Grill's Ski Peterson and Pam Ledbetter, will open its doors on Saturday, January 3. In addition to a variety of wines, the new Wahoo! project will offer meats, cheeses, local produce, flowers, and gifts, as well as special events and tastings.

"Opening a specialty store like this has always been a dream of mine," Peterson said in a prepared statement. "Wahoo! Wine & Provisions is an advocate for enjoying life with a glass of wine in one hand and fork in the other and will strive to provide goods and services that remind all of us that we do not need to look far for a reason to be happy."

The wine selection at Wahoo! Wine & Provisions will consist of approximately 200 bottles, four on tap, and wine growlers. The wines span many price points and include everyday options and rare "collectors" wines.

Wahoo! Wine & Provisions is located next door to Wahoo! Grill at 1036 West College Avenue in Decatur.
