Lusca, the Brookwood Hills restaurant from Angus Brown and Nhan Le, is tweaking its lunch and cocktail menus. The new list of beverage offerings comes from Stuart White, who took over as general manager and beverage director in October.
Additions to the lunch menu include Cobb salad with little gem lettuce, avocado, bacon, roasted peppers, and egg; Tonkatsu pork sandwich with shaved pork, Emmentaler cheese, horseradish, and baguette; and quinoa bowl with yellow eye beans, tahini, roasted peppers, scallion, and cilantro.
White's first stab at the cocktail menu features an assortment of liquors serving as bases, including absinthe in the Paper Street and mezcal in the Zocalo. There's also a selection of bottled and draught beer, cider, and wine. White joined Lusca after running the beverage program at Miller Union since 2010.
