The new restaurant coming late this fall to The St. Regis Atlanta hotel in Buckhead will be called Atlas. Aria chef/owner Gerry Klaskala will consult on the menu and the staff, and The Johnson Studio will design the restaurant. "We are a restaurant that is open to the public but feels like a private club," said Klaskala in a prepared statement. "Atlas will no doubt become one of the key places you turn to for great food and impeccable service. The menu is executed to provide an evening of inspired dining with gracious Southern hospitality."
He plans to choose a chef de cuisine to run the daily aspects of the kitchen, which will put out a mostly classic American menu with some European influences and an emphasis on seasonality.
