Gypsy Kitchen, which opens with sister (brother?) restaurant The Southern Gentleman in Buckhead this September, will offer traditional Spanish food with a modern twist, and carry influences from Morocco and the Mediterranean. It's the latest concept from Chris Hadermann and JP Piemonte (Big Ketch, Tin Lizzy's Smokebelly BBQ). Executive chef Randy Lewis will run the kitchen, which is to be shared by both restaurants.
Lacina-Heitler Architects has the design. Located in the huge mixed-use development, Buckhead Atlanta, the atmosphere will be distinctly Baroque, with wood, leather, and tile, and there will be indoor and outdoor bars. Gypsy Kitchen is set to be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
