The Painted Pin, Polaris, More Coming Soon

1) Downtown: Here's an early look inside Polaris, which is set to reopen atop the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on June 10 after a decade of closed doors. The restaurant will rotate every 45 minutes around an open kitchen manned by executive chef Martin Pfefferkorn. 2) Buckhead: Justin Amick's boutique bowling alley The Painted Pin will debut late this week on Monday, June 9, featuring two bocce courts, a wine cork dart board, vintage ski ball machines and basketball pop shots. The Spence's Trip Sandifer will manage the bar program. Thomas Collins, formerly of Parish, is in as executive chef and will produce pizza and upscale pub fare out of a kitchen with two Neapolitan-style pizza ovens. 737 Miami Circle.

3) Decatur: Atlanta-based chain Fresh to Order is reportedly working on a new location at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Church Street. The franchise would be the ninth in the metro area and aims to fill the space left by Mexican concept Hola!, which opened in early 2013 and closed less than a year later. 205 E Ponce De Leon Ave, Decatur.
