Atlanta Journal Constitution's Jenny Turknett reviewed Varuni Napoli and gave it 2 out of 5 stars. Noting that chef and co-owner Luca Varuni moved from Antico, she mentioned the comparison between the two. Turknett praised the communal and separate dining options as well as Luca Varuni's ability to create a sense of community to bring customers back. The pizza's lack of consistency makes it "good enough," but she is confident that customers will continue to return.

THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: Marie, Let's Eat! returned to Gu's Bistro, pleased once more by the Chongqing Spicy Chicken, visited Star Provisions for a "great little meal," and found an epic combo plate at Lovie's BBQ. Marilyn Wolf found Batavia to be spicy but balanced. ATL Food Snob classified St. Cecilia as seafood finesse. Hot Dish Review described Elmyriachi as a more polished version of Elmyr. Atlanta Restaurant Blog says that Vine and Tap is warm and sophisticated.
