The Southern Gentleman will open its doors this September at the Buckhead Atlanta mixed-use district, sharing a kitchen and executive chef with sister restaurant Gypsy Kitchen. Chef Randy Lewis will be in charge of the food at both, serving gastropub fare at the former. Coming from the group behind The Big Ketch, Tin Lizzy's, and Smokebelly BBQ, The Southern Gentleman will feature local and seasonal ingredients, and a bar with beer, wine, and traditional Southern cocktails.
"It's a new Southern approach to gastropub cuisine. I'm trying to make it more vegetable-driven," Lewis told Atlanta Magazine in May.
