In an effort to "appeal to a hipper audience," Smyrna Mexican restaurant Village Taqueria has undergone a rebrand. Now known as Jose's Not Here, it features a new menu that includes dishes like pig-ear nachos and chargrilled calamari with tomato, cilantro, salsa, and chimichurri.

"Our restaurant has been voted a Smyrna favorite because our food has always gone well beyond the typical taco fare," said Jose's general manager Kristine Kayser. "The new Jose's menu offers some fresh choices that range from the traditional to the more adventurous."

Located in Smyrna's West Village community, Jose's Not Here is open Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
