With hot weather here to stay for a while, Eater National is determining the nation's most anticipated restaurant openings for this summer. Included in the list of 48 are forthcoming Atlanta eateries The Luminary and Diner.
The Luminary is Top Chef alum Eli Kirshtein's American brasserie planned for Krog Street Market. With a large patio, the menu will feature regionalized and updated bistro fare and a focus on raw bar offerings.
Diner is the latest project from Atlanta restaurant veteran Ron Eyester, opening soon at Atlantic Station. A bit more of a modern take on the traditional greasy spoon, Eyester says it "will have have a menu that's a critic's nightmare, because it's not going to be very focused. That's the whole thing about a diner: You can get whatever you want."
Both restaurants should be open by the end of summer.
