World Cup at Bar Amalfi; Whiskey Dinner at Ink & Elm

WESTSIDE — Normally closed on Sundays, Bar Amalfi will show the final match of the World Cup this Sunday, July 13. Opening at 1 p.m. with drinks before the game which begins at 3 p.m., the strip of Ethel street in Little Italia will be closed for the event so kids and families can play soccer outside. EMORYInk & Elm will host a four-course dinner paired with Diageo's Orphan Barrel whiskey at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23. Each whiskey is aged for two decades. The dinner and tasting is $125.19 per person after a service fee, and tickets can be purchased here. [EaterWire]

CHARITY WIRE — On Thursday, August 14, 13 Atlanta restaurants will donate 20 percent of their sales for the evening to the Kula Project.
