Ford Fry and JCT. Kitchen and Bar put on the sixth-annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival on Sunday, and despite some late monsoon-like conditions, more than 2,000 tomato-hungry eaters turned out to the Goat Farm Arts Center for the festivities. In addition to some of the best chefs and bartenders in Atlanta, there was live music, auctioned items, and plenty of tasty bites and sips.
But it wasn't all fun and games; winners were declared. Osteria Mattone's Ted Lahey won judges' choice for best dish, and Gunshow's Joey Ward took home the fan vote. In mixology, Eduardo Guzman of JCT. and the Optimist wowed the judges, and Stuart White, Vince Lendi, and Zach Capito of Miller Union were crowned champions by the fans.
Below, take a look at all the action with our gallery of the event.
