DECATUR — The 14th Annual Decatur BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass Festival takes place at Harmony Park this Saturday, August 16, from noon to 8 p.m. Plenty of barbecue will be available, along with beer for those 21 and older. SANDY SPRINGS — TasteATL will host its first Atlanta Meatball Festival on Sunday, September 14, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Belle Isle Square next to Cibo e Beve in Sandy Springs. The event will include meatball recipes from multiple restaurants, live music, drinks, and a silent auction to benefit Open Hand, an organization that helps people prevent or manage chronic illness with nutrition and counseling.
