DECATUR — The 14th Annual Decatur BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass Festival takes place at Harmony Park this Saturday, August 16, from noon to 8 p.m. Plenty of barbecue will be available, along with beer for those 21 and older. Entry costs $10 in advance for those 11 and older, $15 at the gate, and children 10 and younger get in for free. [EaterWire]

BUCKHEAD — Georgia's only cane-to-bottle producer of rum, Erik Vonk, will be at the Holeman & Finch Bottle Shop to sign bottles of his Richland Rum from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday. Lead bartender Sara Justice will serve custom cocktails featuring Richland Rum from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Holeman & Finch Public House for $13 each. [EaterWire]

SANDY SPRINGS — TasteATL will host its first Atlanta Meatball Festival on Sunday, September 14, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Belle Isle Square next to Cibo e Beve in Sandy Springs. The event will include meatball recipes from multiple restaurants, live music, drinks, and a silent auction to benefit Open Hand, an organization that helps people prevent or manage chronic illness with nutrition and counseling.
