Victory Brands, the team behind Decatur's Victory Sandwich Bar and Paper Plane, is opening a cocktail bar in Westside called Little Trouble. It's the project that bartender Shanna Mayo alluded to when she left Leon's Full Service for Victory, and owner Ian Jones later hinted at more details.
"We've been looking to do something on the Westside for a long time now, and the community of outstanding businesses curated at Westside Provisions District proved too alluring," restaurateur and Little Trouble owner Ian Jones said in an announcement.
The new venture, which Jones said will be "more bar scene than restaurant scene," is slated for a 3,000-foot-space below Abattoir. No word yet on a timeline for opening. Have details on Little Trouble? Let us know via the tipline.
