Corner Tavern in Little Five Points is finally renovating after a fire heavily damaged the restaurant back in May 2013. Construction is underway after a a wait for insurance money and then city permits, according to co-owner Melanie Rabb.

Multiple employees at other Corner Tavern locations confirmed a projected reopening date for early November. Plans were filed last May to rebuild with an estimated $350,000. When the doors open, look out for a new rooftop deck and a possible secret VIP room.
