Chef Todd Richards and the team behind The Shed at Glenwood opened The Pig & The Pearl last week, installing a heavy hitter in Atlantic Station's burgeoning dining scene. The combination smokehouse/raw bar offers a unique menu with dishes ranging from smoked pork shoulder to yellowfin tuna sashimi.
Inside the restaurant, the bar area takes center stage, providing a traditional raw bar feel. There's plenty of dark and light wood throughout, and high ceilings plus natural and overhead light lend to a bright, bustling atmosphere. Outside, the covered patio should prove popular when weather conditions are nice. There's no alcohol yet, but beer, wine, and cocktails are expected to make an appearance this Thursday night or Friday.
