At long last, top chef alum Eli Kirshtein's French-American brasserie, The Luminary, opens tonight at 6 p.m. in Krog Street Market. It's the first restaurant to open in the Inman Park development.
The menu features French classics like steak frites, duck au poivre, and crepinette of pork, and more American offerings such as shrimp toast, chicken wings, and New Orleans barbecue shrimp. There's even a local play on a French favorite, pompano "amandine," with pecans replacing the traditional slivered almonds. Check out the complete list of dinner offerings and a photo gallery of the restaurant right here. Reservations are available on OpenTable.
