Zesto Closing on Ponce de Leon After 60 Years

Look for a North Carolina-based fast food chain to take its place.

The Ponce de Leon Avenue outpost of iconic fast-food burger chain Zesto is closing this Saturday, September 20. In operation on Ponce since 1954, the building was razed and rebuilt in 1991. Five Atlanta-area Zesto locations will remain open.

UPDATE: North Carolina fast food chain Cook-Out will open its second East Side location in the space.
