Twin Smokers Barbecue Opening Downtown on October 6

A new barbecue concept is coming to the Luckie Marietta District.

A new barbecue concept is coming soon to Downtown Atlanta. Twin Smokers Barbecue & Bourbon will open in the Luckie Marietta District on Monday, October 6. The eatery comes from Legacy Restaurant Partners, the company behind Article 14, Der Biergarten, and STATS, among others.

"Our menu features Southern-style barbecue with hickory-smoked chicken and pork, and Texas-style barbecue with mesquite-smoked beef brisket," said Legacy corporate executive chef Chris Blobaum in a release. An "extensive bourbon selection and beer program" will be offered as well.

The restaurant's name comes from its two custom Oyler 700 smokers, one for pork and chicken, and the other for beef. The 4,000-square-foot Twin Smokers space will be located in the same building that houses STATS at 300 Marietta Street. Hours are Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
