Thirteen Pies will open its doors in Buckhead Atlanta in early October. It's the second location for the Fort Worth-based pizzeria.
Executive chef Brandon Wolff is in charge of the kitchen, and he'll turn out a menu that features wood-fired pizzas from two limestone-encased ovens, house-made pastas, salads, small plates, and desserts. Wolf is a Texas native who has cooked at several top-tier restaurants around the country, and has twice worked in the kitchen at New York's James Beard House. Behind the bar, look for seasonal cocktails and more than 30 wines.
The space itself features marble countertops, blue limestone flooring, and long-leaf pine walls. Seating will be available for 123, including 21 at the bar.
Thirteen Pies will be open seven days a week. Hours are set for Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
