Jason Hall, who served as executive chef at MAX's Wine Dive, is no longer with the restaurant. He began running the kitchen when Max's opened in Midtown on July 1. There's no word yet on reason for the departure, and neither Hall nor MAX's general manager Jon McAloon have returned emails or phone calls from Eater Atlanta.

Hall also previously worked at Saltyard and Livingston Restaurant + Bar. MAX's Wine Dive is a Texas-based chain that offers locally sourced, seasonal menus and an extensive wine list. Its fried chicken was recently selected by readers as one of the best versions in Atlanta.

UPDATE: PR for restaurant says the move was made "based on MAX's corporate cultural direction and that they wish him the best of luck." Have info on who might be in line to replace Hall? Let us know via the tipline.
