LDV Hospitality, the restaurant group behind Corso Coffee and celebrity chef Marc Forgione's forthcoming American Cut steakhouse in Buckhead Atlanta, is adding another eatery to the development. Dolce Italian will open later this year.
The menu will feature Italian staples such as housemade pasta, Neopolitan pizza, seasonal salads, and Veal Milanese. At the bar, look for beverages like an Aperol spritz and barrel-aged Negroni.
"Dolce is the perfect forum for socializing and indulging in the convivial charm of the Italian dining culture," LDV founder John Meadow said in a prepared statement. "This restaurant captures the effortless elegance of Fellini's Rome of the 1960s, and we think that's an ideal fit for Buckhead Atlanta."
It's the second outpost for Dolce, following the original in Miami. Anyone who wants to get an idea of what to expect can tune into Bravo's Best New Restaurant, hosted by Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio, on January 21 at 10 p.m. The Miami restaurant will be featured.
