After adding a late-night menu, Makan is continuing its quest to serve as much "Asian comfort food" as possible. The Decatur restaurant debuts its brunch service this weekend, featuring some dim sum options.
"It's a family custom for me to enjoy these classic, comfort food Chinese dim sum options on the weekends, and I thought to continue this tradition with our fans and supporters," chef/co-owner George Yu said in a prepared statement, "Atlantans are always seeking an outside-the-box brunch option and this menu will definitely satisfy cravings while also offering something different."
Among the bites available will be dumplings, rice noodle rolls, steamed buns, and more. All menu items are priced between $4 and $6 for a la carte-style ordering. Yu will add his own take to the dishes by using fresh ingredients and housemade sauces.
Grab brunch at Makan on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. See the full menu below.
