Belly General Store closed in the heart of Virginia-Highland a few weeks back, and it looks like a replacement concept is on deck. A restaurant called Jimmy Jones Bourbon & Bar & Grill has filed a building permit application to take over the space at 772 N Highland Avenue NE, reports What Now Atlanta.
The could-be Belly replacement would only make minor improvements to the space like changing the "seating and furniture," and installing a "suppression hood" versus the existing "vent hood," at a cost of $10,000, according to the application.
Further details are scarce at the moment.
