Michel Arnette's newest restaurant has a name, reports Atlanta Magazine. The Royal, which will serve "classic American cuisine," will open in the former Brown Auto Service space on Peachtree Road in Chamblee.
Arnette, owner of Haven and Valenza in Brookhaven, is turning back the clock with his latest project, and he'll keep the building's structural style and appearance. On the menu, look for burgers, fries, and malts, with nothing priced higher than $20.
"We want this place to be casual in how people perceive it, but the food is top notch," Arnette told Atlanta. "There's a certain opulence and regal nature to the word [Royal]."
Arnette is hoping to open the Royal in the third quarter of 2015. Jay George, formerly of the Johnson Studio, will design the restaurant.
