P&P Beer Dinner; STATS Re-opening; New SweetWater

ATLANTIC STATION — The Pig & The Pearl is kicking off its beer dinner series on Thursday, January 15 with Orpheus Brewing. Dinners to follow will take place on the third Thursday of each month and partner with a local brewery. Pairings for the first event include The Pig & The Pearl's Szechuan pork belly, smoked short beef ribs, and huckleberry pound cake. Cost is $50 per person, and reservations can be made by calling (404) 541-0930. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN — After closing for repairs after a fire, STATS is ready to re-open. The Marietta Street sports bar will begin serving again this Friday. [EaterWire]

BEER HERE — SweetWater Brewing Company's imperial stout, Happy Ending, is now in season. Made with Centennial and Willamette hops and finished off with a dry-hop addition of Cascade and Simcoe hops, the brew checks in at 9 percent abv. It will be available through the end of February. [EaterWire]
