Il Giallo, the forthcoming Sandy Springs restaurant from chef Jamie Adams and the folks behind Veni Vidi Vici, is on track to open sometime next week. Once it does, the Italian eatery will seat 140 in the 8,200-square-foot space, which centers on a chef's table with a view of the fresh pasta making.
In addition to the fresh pasta, Adams will serve antipasti, a selection of salumi and cheese, simple sides, and entrees that feature fish and beef. The restaurant, located at 5920 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, will serve lunch and dinner Sunday through Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Buckhead Life Restaurant Group shuttered Veni Vidi Vici in June, claiming it no longer fit in the company's vision. In addition to Adams, who was the popular Midtown restaurant's longtime executive chef, general manager Leonardo Moura is on board at Il Giallo, as well. Take a look at the new venture's complete menu below.
