Atlanta Farmhouses; Trick-Or-Treat Top 5; Porchfest Debut

All the latest neighborhood and real estate news from Curbed Atlanta.

ORMEWOOD PARK — Examples of Atlanta's new "Modern Farmhouses" have popped up in Edgewood, East Atlanta Village and Reynoldstown, and now twice in Ormewood Park, where this new and slightly modified four-bedroom abode (as seen above) is asking $550,000.

CITYWIDE — Using a combination of Walk Score and income data (because king-sized candy bars come from big nice houses, usually) Curbed compiled a list of the Top 5 best neighborhoods for trick-or-treating in Atlanta this year. Remember to brush your teeth.

OAKHURST — What started as a wild idea among a few Oakhurst denizens is now being called "the largest organic, free-range, crowd-sourced music festival in the state of Georgia." And it all goes down from 2 to 6 p.m. this Sunday. More than 130 bands have signed on for the Decatur neighborhood's inaugural "Porchfest," and they're set to perform hourlong sets on at least that many porches and lawns.
