Jimmy Meas, a former chef under the collapsed Here to Serve umbrella, recently landed on his feet with Genki Noodles & Sushi, which has restaurants in Virginia-Highland, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs. Genki has officially announced the hiring of Meas, who will "oversee menu execution and creation." From a release:

Jimmy Meas, formerly the Executive Sushi Chef for Here to Serve Restaurants, has joined the Genki Noodles and Sushi team as its Executive Chef - overseeing menu creation and execution. Meas will bring his wealth of expertise to the nearly 20-year old Atlanta dining brand that is known for its artfully presented sushi and approachable Japanese cuisine and boasts locations in Buckhead, Virginia Highland and Sandy Springs and has a wildly popular food truck. Meas, who had been with Here to Serve Restaurants since 1996, has the unique ability of knowing just the right finishing touches to add to all of his creations. An Atlanta favorite and welcome addition to the Genki team, Meas will bring his personal touch to Genki's newly launched lunch and dinner menus that combine traditional favorites with new rolls, numerous gluten free and vegan and vegetarian options.
