Compton, Calif.-based Texas-style barbecue joint Bludso's BBQ recently closed its Castleberry Hill location "due to unforeseen easement restrictions" and is in the process of relocating. The smokehouse hasn't announced where its new outpost might be, but co-owner Damien Scroggins recently said it's "coming soon" in an Instagram post.
Bludso's originally opened its first Atlanta restaurant last December. It's quickly become known for fine takes on smoked brisket, beef ribs, and tips. Though dine-in isn't an option at the moment, catering is still available while a new home is sorted out. Bludso's has not yet responded to an Eater Atlanta request for more details.
