Chef Doug Turbush's third East Cobb restaurant, Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar, has pushed its opening back a bit. The restaurant was originally projected to open late this year, but now is on track for a February 1, 2016, launch, reports Atlanta Magazine. The restaurant is planned for The Avenue East Cobb at 4475 Upper Roswell Road in Marietta.
In addition to Drift, Turbush operates Seed Kitchen & Bar and Stem Wine Bar. Seed chef de cuisine Brendan Keenan is working with Turbush on Drift's menu. Jason Raymond is in as GM/sommelier, the same position he currently holds at Stem, and Stem's Chris McNeil is putting together the cocktail program.
