Vine & Tap Adds Cocktails; Revival Takes a Day Off

BUCKHEAD — Wine-centric restaurant Vine & Tap is adding liquor to its repertoire. Among the new beverages on the restaurant's menu are the V&T manhattan, penicillin, last word, V&T old fashioned, toronto, and apple sidecar. Owner and sommelier Ian Mendelsohn says, "Our goal is for the cocktails to be served with the best quality liquors, fresh juices, and stay true to their iconic status." [EaterWire]

DECATUR — Revival, chef Kevin Gillespie's shrine to Southern cuisine, will be closed on Mondays henceforth. Gillespie wants to give his staff a day of rest, but the restaurant will soon serve all-day dinner on Saturdays, starting October 10 at 11 a.m. Revival also plans to announce seasonal menu changes and a new beverage list soon.
