Brookleigh Marketplace, the ongoing development project in Brookhaven, has some more restaurants on board Coro Realty Advisors, the firm in charge of the project, announced that frozen custard scoop shop Southern Custard and local chain Marlow's Tavern will take up residence in a 9,521 square foot building at the corner of Johnson Ferry Road and Blair Circle.

Southern Custard, shortened to "SoCu" for those who don't have time for four syllables, comes from Matthew and Heather Mohalski and will offer "fresh, super-premium, rich, creamy frozen custard and bright, sweet Italian ice in a rotating selection of flavors." Marlow's Tavern, the 16th location for the chain in Georgia, will take up 3,468 square feet and an additional 1,500-square-foot patio.

Southern Custard and Marlow's Tavern join previously announced Brookleigh Market restaurants Pure Taqueria and Bon Glaze doughnut shop. Coro Realty Advisors and Easlan Capital plan to break ground on the final phase of the development later this year.
