Television personality, author, professional food mad scientist, and Georgia boy Alton Brown is hitting the road for another tour, which includes a hometown stop at the fabulous Fox Theatre in Midtown. Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science will hit Atlanta on Saturday, April 9, and tickets are on sale right now. They range from $47.50 to $150 and come with "comedy, talk show antics, multimedia presentations, and music."
While Brown recently took his Edible Inevitable tour on the road, he tells Eater the new show won't be a retread for diehard fans: "The show is completely new, but it follows the same overall structure as the Edible Inevitable tour. There will be new songs, there will be new standup, there will be new puppets and there will be new opportunities for audience interaction. And there will be two very large and very unusual culinary demonstrations that I'm hoping will be even bigger than the legendary Megabake Oven. Oh, and there's an onstage game this time too."
Brown has been busy lately. In addition to planning the new tour, he's working on a new cookbook, Every Day Cook, which will hit shelves next fall. The creator of Good Eats continues to host Cutthroat Kitchen and Camp Cutthroat on Food Network.
