OLD FOURTH WARD — BeltLine-adjacent restaurant Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is putting together a potluck for unemployed Here to Serve Restaurants workers. Local restaurants will donate dishes, beer, and wine to be served Monday, October 19, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. It's free of charge for Here to Serve employees, and other diners can donate to The Giving Kitchen's special fund for the workers. MIDTOWN — Madre + Mason, the new restaurant from the folks behind Urban Cannibals, is Here to Serve fundraiser Sunday night. From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., the restaurant will serve an all-you-can-eat buffet supper for $15, and former Here to Serve staff can eat for free. Diners can pay an additional $5 to purchase former Here to Serve workers some much-needed drinks. All proceeds from the evening will be distributed to the former employees who attend.
