ROSWELL — Ted Lahey, who helped open Table & Main and Osteria Mattone and has served as executive chef at both restaurants since 2011 and 2013, respectively, is hanging up his apron, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. In a press release, Lahey said he's leaving to spend more time with his family: "I am excited to come back 10 years from now and show my children the successful restaurants that their father helped to build and create."
Chef de cuisine Woolery Back will fill Lahey's shoes at Table & Main, and owner Ryan Pernice will conduct a search for a new executive chef at Osteria Mattone. Lahey is officially leaving the restaurants at the beginning of 2016.
BUCKHEAD — Timothy Magee is the new executive chef at Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, according to an announcement from the restaurant. Magee most recently ran the kitchen at Community Smith in Midtown, and before that he was executive chef at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails Downtown.
