First Look at Venkman's; More Atlanta Reviews

It's your weekly roundup of Atlanta restaurant reviews.

Venkman's.
Jonathan Phillips/Eater Atlanta

Over at Creative Loafing, Angela Hansberger takes a first look at Venkman's, the Old Fourth Ward restaurant/music venue from chef Nick Melvin and Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson of '70s cover band Yacht Rock Revue. Hansberger says Venkman's covers a lot of ground:

Much like the beer list satisfying both the High Life and the craft beer drinker, Venkman's is a hybrid that's able to suit different tastes. Your food nerd cousin would be happy here alongside your brother who just wants a burger and a beer, and so would your friend who would like a nice glass of wine and a local salad.

THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: Fried Chicken Lips finds hits and misses at Tavernpointe. Crush Crave is a fan of the brunch at Twisted Soul. Marie, Let's Eat! doesn't have any objection to Smokebelly BBQ. Eat It, Atlanta enjoys fried chicken-and-egg-biscuit  perfection at Beaver Creek Biscuit Company.
