The latest project from Atlanta husband-and-wife team Billy and Jenn Streck has a chef on board. Cooper Miller, previously of Ford Fry's JCT. Kitchen & Bar will run the kitchen at Hampton & Hudson, the restaurant announced Wednesday. Hampton & Hudson is opening soon in the Inman Quarter mixed-use development.
The Strecks want their new restaurant to be a "true community bar and restaurant that redefines how diners look at pub food." The 3,500-square-foot space includes an outdoor patio and will feature design inspired by many of the Strecks' favorite bars and restaurants, but will "play to the spirit of the neighborhood." As for Miller's menu, a sampling of dishes include:
Snacks
- H+H housemade jerky
- French onion rings - onion rings covered in beef jus, gruyere, chive
- Duck McNuggets - cranberry mustardo
- Biscuit sliders - Nashville hot-style chicken, oyster, and pork
Salad
- Beet - baby carrot, green goddess chevre, arugula, pumpkin seed brittle, balsamic
Sandwich
