At long last, Atlanta cocktail veterans Greg Best and Paul Calvert are behind the stick at Krog Street Market's Ticonderoga Club. After a lengthy tussle with local government, the restaurant has a liquor license and began serving alcohol over the weekend.
The good news came nearly a month after Ticonderoga Club opened for dinner. In addition to beer, wine, cider, and sherry, look for a list of "special cups" from Best and Calvert such as the Ticonderoga Cup (rum, cognac, sherry, pineapple, lemon, and mint) and the Bitter Southerner #2 (bonded apple brandy, Peychaud's Bitters, lime, Herbsaint, tonic, and sea salt), which is inspired by the essential Southern culture publication.
Ticonderoga Club's regular dinner hours are Thursday through Tuesday from 5 p.m. till late. See the full beverage menu below.
