After 12 years in business, local Indian favorite Bhojanic is closing the doors at its Decatur outpost. The final day of service for the restaurant will be next Monday, November 30. Bhojanic announced the news on Facebook Monday afternoon and confirmed "a new concept that will be opening in the area the first quarter of 2016."
"Unfortunately, our lease at this location has come to an end and we could not come to terms on a lease extension," the statement reads. "We are glad to let everyone know that our entire staff has the opportunity to continue working with us at either our Buckhead location or catering kitchen. At the same time, we are excited to say that we will not be gone from the area long."
Bhojanic's catering operation is expanding into a larger facility, and its food truck is still rolling. There's no word yet on details for the new concept mentioned in the announcement. No changes are planned for the Buckhead restaurant.
