After several days of trial runs, El Super Pan is officially in business. The Ponce City Market Latin sandwich shop from chef Hector Santiago begins serving lunch and dinner today inside the development's Central Food Hall. The 800-square-foot restaurant seats 20 and offers dine-in and to-go orders.
The menu features a variety of sandwiches on house-baked breads, snacks, sides, salads, and desserts, and after 6 p.m. a "Menu del Dia" also will be available, providing "an ever-changing, nightly list of market-driven plates with seasonal Latino flavors." Santiago has partnered with Second Self Beer Company to create an exclusive malta soda that compliments the sandwiches. As for booze, look for "off-menu" classics such as Pina Coladas, Pisco Sours, Mojitos, and Caipirinhas, along with beer, wine, and other mixed drinks that focus on Latin American beverages.
El Super Pan serves lunch and dinner seven days a week. Haven't seen the menu yet? Take a look below.
