After closing down its first Atlanta location, Compton, Calif.-based Bludso's BBQ hopes to be back in business soon. Co-owner Damien Scroggins doesn't have details on a new address yet, but he says he's targeting a location near the original spot.
"We are looking to reopen in the the first quarter of 2016," Scroggins said in an email to Eater Atlanta. "We shut down due to easement problems with the property. We will remain in the Castleberry Hill district or nearby."
Bludso's opened its first Atlanta restaurant last December, and it's quickly become known for fine takes on smoked brisket, beef ribs, and tips. Though dine-in isn't an option at the moment, catering is still available while a new home is sorted out.
