Missing Oddbird? The Hot Chicken Pop-Up Returns Wednesday

Oddbird, the West Egg Cafe "restaurant within a restaurant," shut down last month, leaving Atlanta's hot chicken fiends in despair. Those who have been missing the Westside pop-up should clear their dinner plans for this Wednesday, because it's coming back for a one-off dinner. Oddbird will once again take over West Egg from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Look for Oddbird's regular menu of chicken biscuits, sandwiches, and waffles, available in plain ol' fried and Nashville-style hot. Sides such as hushpuppies and mac and cheese, will make an appearance, too, as will whole housemade pies for dessert. Wash it all down with West Egg's selection of beer and cocktails.

Oddbird originally launched back in April. While the pop-up is no longer a regular feature at the restaurant, West Egg partner Jennifer Johnson expects it to return once a month "while we plan Oddbird's next move."
