Adrian Villarreal, formerly of The Spence, is ready to open his own Midtown restaurant. Rreal Tacos — like that little wordplay on the chef's last name? — opens Wednesday, December 16, at 110 6th Street NE, representatives for the eatery confirmed to Eater Atlanta.

Villarreal will turn out tacos with grilled adobe chicken, grilled fish, pork trompo, and the like, dressed with organic cilantro, onion, and lime. And for those who prefer to indulge in a little garnish variety, a selection of customizations include serrano peppers toreados, shaved radish, and chayote slaw. Soups and salads will be available, as well. At the bar, expect Mexican beer and cocktails, such as Palomas, micheladas, and Cuba libres.

The small taqueria seats 65 and includes a long communal table with room for 12 to 16. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
