Restaurateur Doug Foley, the man behind Vino Venu, Silver Spoon Cafe, and more, is opening his next project at The Gathering Spot. Wye Restaurant and Bar should begin service by the end of January, offering "elevated takes on classic dishes."

The Gathering Spot, located Downtown at 384 Northyards Boulevard NW, claims to be an "innovative, private, members-only city club that brings together a motivated and diverse community of professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs." Wye will cater to members of the club with a seasonal menu of small plates, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and large plates. The bar will pour up the ubiquitous selection of craft beers, wine, and "unique" cocktails.

"We designed Wye so that it not only serves up a quality and delicious menu, but also provides a comfortable atmosphere where our staff and members know each other, specifically menu preferences and how they prefer to dine," The Gathering Spot CE Ryan Wilson said in a prepared statement. "Based on Doug's experience with opening and managing restaurants in the Atlanta market, we know that we have recruited the right partner to bring this type of dining experience to our members and their guests."
