Chris Edwards is moving up in the Linton Hopkins empire. Previously chef de cuisine at Holeman & Finch Public House, Edwards is now executive chef at the restaurant, Resurgens Hospitality Group announced. Before moving to Holeman & Finch last year, he was sous chef at Hopkins' Restaurant Eugene.
Hopkins was serving as executive chef at Holeman & Finch, as he was at Restaurant Eugene before Brian Jones moved into that role in August. At the time, a Resurgens spokesperson told Eater Atlanta, "As he and Gina's roles as restaurateurs grow with the expansion of our group, they felt the need for someone other than Chef Hopkins to take on the day-to-day role as executive chef."
In addition to Holeman & Finch and Restaurant Eugene, Resurgens operates The Cafe at Linton's, H&F Bread Co., H&F Bottle Shop, H&F Burger, and Hop's Chicken. A second H&F Burger opened alongside Hop's in September at Ponce City Market, following the original at Turner Field.
