Diner, the forthcoming Atlantic Station venture from angry chef Ron Eyester, is finally closing in on its opening date. Eyester anticipates the restaurant will begin service in the next seven to 10 days.
Diner was originally scheduled to open last July, before it was pushed back to September and then delayed indefinitely. In the meantime, Eyester has competed on Top Chef: Boston and revamped Timone's, his Morningside pizzeria.
When Diner opens its doors, look for a wide-ranging menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the morning, there's an extensive list of omelettes, Benedicts, and other assorted dishes. Lunch features sandwiches, burgers, and salads, and a large set of entrees includes steaks, fish, chicken, and pork. And that's not to mention the modern, classic, and breakfast cocktails.
