O4D at Makan; Free Wine Tasting; Katana Happy Hour

Makan, Old Fourth Distillery, and Brasstown Beef are teaming up for a dinner this week.


DECATUR — This Thursday, Makan will host an evening of food and cocktails featuring meat from Brasstown Beef and drinks featuring Old Fourth Distillery vodka. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by a seated four-course dinner with beef dishes and cocktail pairings. BUCKHEAD — King + Duke will host a complimentary tasting with Georgia-born winemaker Suzanne Phifer Pavitt of California's Phifer Pavitt Winery on Monday, March 2. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Pavitt and King + Duke beverage manager Ronnie LeClair will guide guests through a tasting of the winery's Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc. Executive chef E.J. Hodgkinson will pair the tasting with complimentary small bites from the hearth. The featured wines will be available by the glass for purchase, along with King + Duke's full beverage and bar menu.
