BUCKHEAD — Chef-driven barbecue restaurant Smokebelly is teaming up with Westbrook Brewing Company for a beer dinner on Tuesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. For $50 per person, there will be three courses of barbecue starters, entrees, and desserts, plus pairings and the limited release of Westbrook's Chocolate Coconut Almond Imperial Stout. SANDY SPRINGS — Real Mandarin House, which had been serving Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine in in Sandy Springs Plaza, has shuttered, reports Tomorrow's News Today. TNT says the restaurant abruptly closed over a month ago. [TNT]

WESTSIDE — Lei G Ho, owner of Rice Restaurant and Sushi Bar in Cumming, is working on a restaurant in the forthcoming Brady development at 930 Howell Mill Road. Eight Sushi Lounge will put "a modern twist on a what sushi bars and Japanese restaurants are" and "revolutionize how Japanese food is viewed," according to What Now Atlanta.
