The Sean's Harvest Market team is opening a second location.

Sean's Harvest Market

1) Midtown: Sean's Harvest Market, from husband-and-wife team Sean Germain and Amber Chaney, is opening a second location in the former Joli Kobe space at 1545 Peachtree Street NE. The restaurant will offer sandwiches, soups, and smoothies, and is on track to begin serving March 2.

The main difference between the first and second locations is size. The original, which opened in 2012 on Amsterdam Avenue in Morningside, is a simple walk-up counter with outdoor seating. The new 1,600-square-foot restaurant will have interior seating for 70 to 80, plus some standing room, according to Germain. In addition to the dining options, the market component at Sean's will offer assorted biscuits and baked goods, meats, cheeses, seasonal produce, and Dirty Nekkid coffee, which is based out of Poncey-Highlands.

2) Westside: Tom + Chee, the Cincinnati-based grilled cheese concept, is adding another local location, reports Tomorrow's News Today. The restaurant will set up shop in the Westside Ironworks development across from the Westside Provisions District. The first Atlanta-area Tom + Chee opened in Kennesaw, and Alpharetta and Buford outposts are in the works as well.

Westside Ironworks will also feature a second location for Barcelona Wine Bar.

3) Midtown: LPC, which rebranded from its original La Pietra Cucina name in 2012, has closed, and it appears that a new concept is on the way. A tipster tells Eater Atlanta something called Tavernpointe is in the works and plans to open this spring.
